<strong>[Company -> Update]</strong>

There are various things being speculated upon over at the <a href="http://ragingbull.lycos.com/mboard/boar ... LY">Raging Bull Forums</a> about various aspects of <a href="http://www.interplay.com">Interplay's</a> state of existence. Here are a few important tidbits:
<br><blockquote><i>rbusslinger: The earnings release should be out soon. Before Oct. 14 according to the latest SEC filing.

<br>frymuchan: They are probably only employing 4 people right now. They were owed around 3 million from Vivendi, which they should have gotten once they settled their suit with Atari. They made money off of the sale of Fallout. They also should be getting a million or two a month from back catalogue games. With their low overhead (they obviously aren't working on any games right now and just have a small office), I imagine they could trickle around for awhile, hoping to find someone to merge, buy, etc. I don't know if they'll find it, but I can't imagine it's game over already. Herve has too much riding personally (like 9 million shares or so) to give up without a hell of a fight and some sort of weaselish last minute dive for the endzone.</i></blockquote>And for a bit of mystery...

<br>Also, for a little update on the stock information, <a href="http://www.interplay.com">Interplay's</a> stock actually went even FURTHER down today, <b>-2.78%</b> to be exact, although it doesn't matter that much because the stock itself is a solid <b>$0.02</b>! For further graphical representation (I do love nifty graphics), here is a chart of the life of IPLY's stock since last October:
