Anyone seen this TV series? Starring OMG Beverley Hillbilly Luke Perry and all post-apocalyptic after the end of the world type stuff. I caught the first episode late night here in Australia last week. I was wondering if anyone had seen it and if they thought it was good or bad or something else?
I saw the first half hour and it peaked my interest.

i've seen the entire first series...luke perry or not, he's not a retarded actor amazingly enough.
I enjoyed the series, it got cancelled after season 2 which never made it to my island.
Some interesting things happen throughout the series, things you may not have thought about unless you've played fallout or watched mad max a million times.

That episode was totally cliche. Others are rather entertaining though.Spazmo wrote:I've been watching the first season which is on TV here right now, and it's fairly decent. Some of plotlines are a bit cliche (like the doctor who doesn't need his bag to treat patients--he just needs self-confidence!), but I still find it entertaining.
Overall its an alright show.

Something I've been wondering: I missed I think either the first two or three episodes of Jeremiah, so I'm wondering, what's up with Jeremiah's dad? I know J is obsessed with Valhalla Sector because of something to do with pop, but what's the link between Valhalla and Jeremiah's dad?
Oh, and they should have gotten Mr. T for Curty's role.

I've been watching all the episodes so far
I was extra lucky to get the R1 season DVD boxset off ebay for not too much
I spent all yesterday watching all the episodes I hadn't seen
It sucks that only the pilot has commentary and deleted scenes
As for "The Bag" I guess it was predicable but there was a Big Death reference at the end
I guess it was a cheap episode to make where they could save money for later ones
Plus the show always deals with the relationships sons have with their fathers
I got to say that the two part finale of series one reminds me heaps of the ending to Fallout 2 in many ways
This is not so much of a spoiler but the way that the final pieces of the puzzle blow you away
Now I've got to try and download series 2 over dialup, find someone with DSL or someone who already has it
Finally, there is talk that if season 3 is never made that a comic series would follow
Seeing as how it was loosely based on a French comic in the first place is kinda cool
