I quite enjoyed Company of Heroes. I didn't end up getting the expansion and probably don't care about a sequel, but that's more because my taste has changed.

I would call myself a casual strategy gamer, and I think that's more who this game appeals to. I have low intelligence so too much strategizing hurts my neanderthal brain, more kill is good though. Me know that much. :hug:

My brief experience of Company of Heroes was punctuated by a disappointing realisation. That the A.I seemed, regardless of circumstance, entirely content to sit and wait for me to deprive it of resources and territory. With the exception of certain static, scripted events, I observed no attempts at retaliation. This strange behaviour might have been considered reasonable in the case of scenarios without the possibility of reinforcement, otherwise . . .

Further examination revealed it to be inoffensive, banal and forgettable. Seems to be a trend with WWII games. Pity. :drunk:
