Yes, I'll admit, the stuff about the materials, recentering and the like ,I wasn't aware of. I did make wall tiles before and they're really easy to make. What I did with the water tiles was just taking Fot Muddy water tiles and adjusting the color to varieties of blue, carefull not to chnage the color of rocks mostly. About animated ones, I'll think in the future, I have a small tutorial made by req? somewhere...

thanks for the input Red!

[Edit]Actually, I was aware of the materials, I just forgot. The rest though, not. The bounding box is crucial I think, cause it's a floor, if it was an object like some I did, there wouldn't be a problem, but you have to make floor tiles adjust perfectly to one another. We'll see.[Edit]

If anyone wants the 3d object program that I am using, I will post it for downloads. It is very easy to use and adjustments can be used to make different size wall and floor tiles. Email me.

I have at least seven 3d renderers but it seems a handy one. I'll mail you tomorrow about it probably.

I made a few successful wall tiles and even made a tile downloads page for them. Also I added Flamescreen's tile tutorial at my page. Check it out:

Hey JJ86, couldja also post the dimensions of those walls/tiles? I'm guessing they're 12wu tall, but they look pretty damn long.

Looking good JJ86

Have you tried cutting them into 6WU long segments for more customisable building work?

you guys still interested in an Iguana bob's that's fit to the perspective?
I made one...
I started by skewing it a touch, but that didn't really work too well because it became too thin. So I played with it a bit and I've got it looking ok. I'm not exactally sure how to make the shadow look right though... but I've got it looking deep enough and all, 6x10x18
E-mail XenoZenphinity@hotmail.com if you want it (I don't use the e-mail I have registered here, but I can't change it...) Otherwise I'll see if I can make some more before I package them and send them off to Odin.

Yeah sure, I can post it up on my Tiles downloads site. Send it to me at jj86@nma-fallout.com. Odin is out for awhile with an appendectomy.
Requiem wrote:Have you tried cutting them into 6WU long segments for more customisable building work?
Yeah, I'll slice it up into some smaller sections and make some columns and other assorted pieces as soon as I get a chance. I still owe you a couple sprites too.

I've been dilligently looking around but still haven't found anywhere where requiem's new tiles are available for download. Where can I get them?

P.S. to JJ86, I looked at the new tiles you made on your mapping site, and they're quite nice, particularly the dead brahmin.

Sorry I have been in the process of moving to another state so I haven't had a chance to do updating of the tiles downloads page. I should have my DSL reconnected sometime this week and as soon as I can will do some updates. Stay tuned!

No problem. FoT is supposed to be a hobby in any case. Real life always comes first. Happy stay in the new State you're moving to. :)

So what are you now? Y'know -- solid, liquid, or gas? ...or do I not want to know? ;)

I did send them to Odin and Kreegle but after catching up on the recent posts I see real life has a habit of getting in the way of things.

If MV could be a saint and email them out? He has the latest batch I did, my computer burnt out 2 weeks ago (which is why I haven't been around recently) I took delivery of a loaner today but I'm waiting to hear, what can be saved, from the repair guy.

MV can you be a darling and send 46 & 2 and endocore the tiles please.

Cheers
