Also - I neglect seeing where knowing abit about the setting makes us "Goth fuckers" as it just makes you "Some Dumb Fuck" when it comes to the game. Just face it Mismatch, you suck.
yesssss, GOTH FUCKER!
How am I a console whore? I like a 1 serie of games on console and I'm a console whore?
because you're a console whore.
think dissing the game because of weapons is pretty low since theres other things about the game you could criticise that are a bit more important.
I'm not bloody dissing the game. Who says dissing anyways except for negroes and twelve years olds Im pointing out some shortcomings, and more focusing on how controlled the player are, not enough freedom with them guns as an axample. Sure, more of em would be nice. I said that. But Im primarily complaining about the liearity.

Is it possible to get through the Museum without anyone seeing you, or at least without killing someone? I try, but my stealth isn’t so great and it seems like they put guards in places I cant help but be out in the open with like stairs, rooms I have to go into to get a key, and so on. Pointers?

My only problem with the museum is the fucking cameras, I can't seem to avoid them.
As for the guards you just need to find a breach in their patrol cycle, it's just a matter of timing

I think I need to load back at the beginning of the museum, a guard almost saw me at the stairwell to the basement and now he wont leave.
Cameras are a big problem too, and I dont have enough security/computers to deactivate them.

I find it ironic when, in the game when there's a specific placement of an NPC to act as a clue (spoilers: the malkavian mansion with the two crazies in the mirror), I assume it's nothing and just another bug. A less-buggy game and I wouldn't have been wondering around the place wondering what to do.

The "use" icon pops out though, so even without the mirror you can find it
And if your sneak skill sucks, then you have to beat your way throught the guards. Even if Lacroix isn't happy, you'll still complete the mission.

I managed to get through the museum without killing anyone (I have no stealth and only one dexterity) and only got spotted once. I hid under some stairs. Now I'm stuck in the fucking sewers fighting the crazy pregnant things and nipple monsters. I'm starting to get pissed off, this takes too long and I want a map.
How’s the game running for y'all? I've got a Rad 9600, 512 ram, and a 1.5 processor giving me performance that while stuttering sometimes is still playable. Loading times are a bitch though. I figure I need more ram because the biggest problems occur in hubs.

meh.. don't like the game... crappy graphics, insane loading times, and it sucks up virtual memory like a jet on rocketfuel!
Is there *ANY* difference on the races other than their abilities and attributes? like the story?

Cloud, sneak by these preggo bitches, they suck at detecting you. I had a big 0 in the sneaking skill and could get past most of them. If any spotted me I'd just go celerity on them and then hide.
As for performance, I'm on a AthlonXP 2800, 1gb of RAM and a Rad9600XT, and the game runs perfectly, except in the first hub, when I come out of the parking and into the street, I get some stuttering. As for loading times, they're faster than in HL2.

Finally got released over here and nabbed myself a copy. Going through as a malkavian which has been interesting, although I've been tempted a dozen times over to restart as a Venture to get the most out of dialogue.

Just like normal? and your swimming controls.
Are you using the door right? The bar has a little stick on the right hand side that you're meant to push against.
