Clint definately. You have so many great violent westerns; High Plains drifter, fistful/a few dollars/the G,B&U. Then there's stuff like Kellys Hero's, Escape from Alcatraz nad the Dirty Harry Series.

I've never seen any Wayne movies. The few Eastwood movies I saw were pretty cool... but I'm not much of a Western fan.

I have respect for Eastwood because he's a pretty good director, and clearly an intelligent and thoughtful person, unlike most of the hollywood actors.

He was also mayor of a town at one point.

Sure there's the whole Clint Eastwood bridge in Back to the Future, but that's because you noobs wouldn't know a good John Wayne reference if it tore out your spleen and stomped it with it's size eleven combat boots.

The only real comparison between John Wayne and Eastwood is their height. They're both 6'4.

CLint used to be the mayor of Carmel in CA which I visit sometimes. He also owns a resturant there called the "hogs breath" and has a club house/golfcourse he owns. I dont know if he lives there still, he probably just goes around with his different houses in different places.

I didnt know John Wayne was 6'4 but I could believe Clint was cause he always looked tall in his movies. I always remeber john wayne sitting down .
